Class and Examination Arrangements during Bad Weather

Under the following situations:

1. The Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 (or above) is in force; or
2. The Hong Kong Observatory announces that the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 will be issued within two hours; or
3. “Extreme conditions” are announced by the Government; or
4. The Black Rainstorm Signal is in force,

the following arrangements will apply:

• Please refer to the University policies on class and examination arrangements during bad weather: http://www.exam.hku.hk/a2_badweather.php.
• In accordance with HKU policy, teachers may switch to an online mode of delivery when face-to-face classes are cancelled. Stay informed via course Moodle pages for updates or changes to class schedules.
